 | Snowdrops are everywhere and the daffodils are just opening. The fields are full of the bleating of lambs, owls hooting up the valley in the evenings and the chickens are suddenly becoming broody with the cockerels in full crow first thing in the morning - Spring is here!
Fingals is open from the beginning of March.
The new 'eco' stream room is complete and is a fantastic place to stay overlooking the little feeder stream for The Dart; the new sauna is also ready.
There is plenty to do at this time of year- the river is so peaceful and walks along the coastal path are stunning and very invigorating.
The National Trust are opening Agatha Christie's 'holiday home' at Greenway House for the first time (the gardens have been open for a while) which is a must to see when you come and stay.
